Arctic Air Mass Brings Record-Breaking Cold and Rare Winter Storm Across the U.S.

An expansive arctic air mass is bringing frigid temperatures across the eastern, central, and parts of the western United States, with temperatures plunging 20–30 degrees below already chilly January averages.
